The Reviver

The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) is the reviver of KAILASA, the enlightened civilization and the world’s only and greatest Hindu nation. One of the fundamental pillars of this civilization, which existed from time immemorial, is Annalaya- the temple for the free service of food. As the embodiment of the core principles of Sanatana Hindu Dharma and the living Incarnation of Paramashiva, the superconsciousness, SPH has made the establishment of Annalaya, the temple for free service of food, as a core pillar in the revival of KAILASA from the time that He was coronated as the 1008th Incarnation of Paramashiva at the age of 16.

At the age of 18 in 1996, in the preliminary years of the grand revival of this great Hindu nation, KAILASA, SPH Himself volunteered as the anna dhaata of the Sri Ramakrishna Mutt of Mylapore, Chennai, at which time He personally cooked, served and organized the anna dhaan (service of free food) during different activities and events of the Mutt. Today several co-members of the Ramakrishna Order who were blessed to witness the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism in those days, affectionately recall the way SPH took the responsibility of his role with such passion they revered Him as Sarada Devi herself, the founding mother of the whole lineage who is worshipped as the incarnation of Devi herself.

In the years following from 1996-1999, SPH continued serving as anna dhaata as well as fulfilling other roles including the lead of the publications and archives department, and the head of the branch in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu for a short period of time. On 31 December 1999, SPH officially founded the Nithyananda Sangha in order to upscale and organize the revival of KAILASA which was the ultimate purpose of His advent.

19 November 2002 was the earliest photographed record of the activities of the Nithyananda Annalaya.

The place was Pavazha Kundru, where the SPH had His enlightenment experience at the age of 11 1/2. SPH personally cooked and served food for each of the devotees on the traditional banana leaf as they sat and ate inside the building is the first monastery built by the SPH’s Gurus for Him here.

Since this time, a core aspect of all the public addresses, university courses, programs and free service to the public done personally by SPH is anna dhaan or revealing the greater science of Hindu Food & Nutrition. SPH has spoken more than 20,000 hours at length reviving the great knowledge traditions of Sanatana Hindu Dharma, including the Hindu lifestyle of serving food, as well as eating food as medicine. Keeping these core principles at the forefront, SPH has guided the establishment of Nithyananda Annalaya in more than 108 countries all over the world.

Despite the years of hateful persecution which put the life of SPH many times in peril and often Him left him deserted, without money or without food, the work of Nithyananda Annalaya was never compromised. Whether it was when the anti-hindu forces attempted to isolate and assassinate SPH in police custody in 2010, or when corrupt institutions froze the organization bank account in 2012, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Himself went without food but He still ensured the kitchens of Nithyananda Annalaya all over the world continued to serve humanity.
