There is so much significance surrounding this highly auspicious day which happens on a full moon. Every year, thousands of devotees give offerings and flock to bodies of water or the ocean for the ceremonial bath and ritualistic processes. It is a very important day, especially for Tamilians. 

Kailasa’s Department of Human Services in collaboration with ShriKailasa Uniting Nations for Nutritious Food & Hunger Free World offered Annadhan (free food) to thousands of devotees in Tamil Nadu.
